Welcome to Al Saber Tailoring ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website (www.alsabertailoring.ae) and our tailoring services in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These Terms comply with:

3.1 Custom Tailoring Services
- Bespoke suits, kanduras, thobes, and traditional wear

- Custom shirts, trousers, and casual wear
3.2 Alteration Services
- Garment resizing and adjustments
- Hemming, tapering, and fitting modifications
- Repair services for damaged garments
3.3 Uniform Services
- Corporate uniforms and workwear
- School uniforms
- Healthcare and hospitality uniforms
- Sports team uniforms
3.4 Additional Services
- Fabric sourcing and consultation
- Custom embroidery and monogramming
- Home consultation and measurement (subject to availability)
- Delivery and pickup services (UAE only)
All services are subject to availability and may vary based on fabric type, complexity, and current capacity.
4. Order Process
4.1 Consultation and Measurement
- All custom orders begin with a consultation (in-person or virtual)
- Accurate measurements are essential for proper fit
- Client is responsible for providing correct measurement information
- We offer free re-measurement if initial measurements are found to be inaccurate (our error only)
4.2 Fabric Selection
- Clients may choose from our fabric collection or provide their own fabric
- If client provides fabric, we are not responsible for fabric defects or quality issues
- Minimum fabric requirements will be communicated before order confirmation
4.3 Order Confirmation
- Orders are confirmed only after:
- Measurements are taken and verified
- Fabric is selected and approved
- Design specifications are documented
- Payment deposit is received (for custom orders)
4.4 Payment Terms
- Ready-to-Wear Items: Full payment required before delivery
- Custom Orders: 50% deposit required upon order confirmation, balance due upon completion
- Alterations: Full payment upon completion and pickup
- Bulk Orders (Uniforms): Payment terms will be agreed upon in writing

- Bank Transfer (for bulk orders)

All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.
4.5 Order Timeline
Standard Processing Times:
- Alterations: 3-5 working days
- Custom Shirts/Trousers: 7-10 working days
- Custom Suits/Kanduras: 2-3 weeks
- Wedding Gowns/Formal Wear: 6-8 weeks (with fittings)
- Uniforms (Bulk Orders): 3-4 weeks
Note: Processing times begin after order confirmation and full payment deposit. Times may vary during peak seasons (Eid, Ramadan, wedding season).
Express Service: Available for additional fee (subject to availability)
5. Fittings and Adjustments
5.1 Fitting Sessions
- Bespoke and custom orders typically require 1-2 fittings
- Wedding gowns and formal wear may require 3-4 fittings
- Clients must attend scheduled fittings on time
- Rescheduling a fitting may delay delivery
5.2 Free Adjustments
- Within 30 days of delivery: Free minor adjustments if garment doesn't fit due to our tailoring error
- Minor adjustments include: Small alterations to length, width, or fit
- Not covered: Changes to original design, weight gain/loss, or change of mind
5.3 Paid Adjustments
- Adjustments after 30 days will incur standard alteration fees
- Major design changes or resizing due to customer's measurement changes are chargeable
6. Custom Orders - Important Conditions
6.1 Non-Refundable Deposits
- Deposits paid for custom orders are non-refundable as work begins immediately
- This policy is clearly communicated before order confirmation
6.2 Order Cancellation
- Before cutting fabric: 50% deposit is forfeited
- After cutting fabric: Order cannot be cancelled; full payment is due
- For uniforms/bulk orders: Cancellation terms specified in separate agreement
6.3 Design Ownership
- Custom designs created specifically for you remain your intellectual property
- We may showcase completed work in our portfolio (with your permission)
7. Delivery and Pickup
7.1 Delivery Options
In-Store Pickup (Free):
- Available at our Dubai location during business hours
- Photo ID required for pickup
- Orders held for 30 days; after that, storage fees may apply
Home Delivery (Within Dubai/UAE):
- Free delivery: Orders above AED 500 within Dubai
- Delivery fee: AED 50 for orders below AED 500 (Dubai)
- UAE (Outside Dubai): AED 100-150 depending on emirate
- Standard delivery: 1-2 business days after order completion
Home Measurement & Fitting:
- Free home service: For orders above AED 1000 (Dubai areas)
- Service fee: AED 150 for consultations below AED 1000
- Subject to availability and scheduling
7.2 Delivery Responsibility
- Risk of loss transfers to customer upon delivery
- Customer must inspect items upon delivery
- Any visible defects must be reported within 24 hours
- We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- Incorrect address provided by customer
- Customer unavailability
- Force majeure events (weather, traffic, government restrictions)
8. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
This section complies with UAE Consumer Protection Law No. 15 of 2020 (as amended).
8.1 Custom-Made Items
No Returns or Refunds for custom-made garments except when:
- Defective workmanship: If there is a clear tailoring defect or error on our part
- Material defects: If fabric provided by us has manufacturing defects
- Non-conformity: If garment significantly differs from agreed specifications
Remedy for Defects:
- Free alteration or correction of the defect
- If correction is not possible, full or partial refund
- Remake of the garment (in severe cases)
8.2 Ready-to-Wear Items
- Exchange only: Within 7 days of purchase
- Conditions: Item must be unworn, unwashed, with original tags
- Exchange for: Store credit or different item of equal/greater value
- No refunds: For ready-to-wear unless item is defective
8.3 Alteration Services
- Quality guarantee: Free re-alteration if work is not completed to agreed specifications
- No refunds: Once alteration work has begun
- Change of mind: Not eligible for refund
8.4 Uniforms and Bulk Orders
- Returns and refund terms specified in separate bulk order agreement
- Generally non-returnable once production begins
8.5 How to Request a Return/Refund
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery (for defects)
- Provide order number and photos of the issue
- We will inspect the garment
- Resolution provided within 5-7 working days
No returns accepted after 30 days from delivery.
9. Fabric and Materials
9.1 Fabric Quality
- We source premium fabrics from reputable suppliers
- Fabric descriptions on our website are accurate to the best of our knowledge
- Natural variations in fabric (color, texture) are normal and not considered defects
9.2 Fabric Care
- Care instructions will be provided for each garment
- We are not responsible for damage resulting from:
- Improper washing or care
- Use of harsh detergents or bleach
- Excessive wear and tear
9.3 Customer-Provided Fabric
- If you provide your own fabric:
- We inspect fabric before starting work
- We are not responsible for fabric defects, shrinkage, or color bleeding
- Minimum fabric quantity must meet our requirements
- We reserve the right to refuse working with unsuitable fabric
10. Pricing and Payment
10.1 Pricing Policy
- All prices quoted are valid for 30 days from quotation date
- Prices may change due to fabric cost fluctuations
- Final pricing confirmed upon order placement
10.2 VAT
- All prices are inclusive of 5% UAE VAT unless stated otherwise
- VAT invoices provided upon request
10.3 Currency
- All transactions in UAE Dirhams (AED)
- Foreign currency not accepted for in-store purchases
10.4 Payment Security
- We use secure payment gateways
- We never store credit card information

11. Intellectual Property

12. Limitation of Liability

- Lost profits or business interruption
- Damages resulting from customer's failure to follow care instructions
- Natural fabric variations or wear and tear
- Delays caused by events beyond our control (force majeure)
12.2 Maximum Liability
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service or product in question
12.3 Exceptions
- This limitation does not apply to:
- Fraud or willful misconduct
- Liability that cannot be excluded under UAE Consumer Protection Law
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
13. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes)
- Government restrictions or emergency orders
- Strikes or labor disruptions
- War, terrorism, or civil unrest
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
- Utility failures or internet outages

15. Customer Responsibilities

16. Dispute Resolution
16.1 Informal Resolution
- We encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any disputes
- Most issues can be resolved through communication
16.2 Mediation
- If informal resolution fails, we agree to attempt mediation before litigation
16.3 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE
